Diagnostic Evaluations Offered to School Districts
Wyoming Behavioral Institute continues to make available a school-specific inpatient diagnostic evaluation for students ages 5 to 17. For more information, call 1-800-457-9312.

New Admissions Welcomed
At this time, children, adolescents, and adults are being admitted to Wyoming Behavioral Institute for inpatient mental health care. Pathways, WBI's psychiatric residential treatment facility for adolescents 13 to 17, also has beds available. For more information, call 1-800-457-9312. Admissions accepted 24/7. A physician's referral is not required.

WBI Welcomes New Psychiatrist
Dr. David Martorano joined the Wyoming Behavioral Institute adult unit treatment team in late November. He brings experience with addictions, as well as an interest in expansion of WBI's services. Dr. Martorano is also providing outpatient care.

WBI Participates in Disaster Drill
A commercial airline flight crashes near the Natrona County International Airport. The names and numbers of the dead and injured are unknown as anxious, grieving family and friends converge on the crash scene, fearing the worst.

That was the scenario faced by Wyoming Behavioral Institute staff on a hot August Saturday when they participated in a Natrona County Emergency Response Disaster Drill. The drill involved an actual 2,000 degree burning fuselage, a team of high school student actors playing the parts of the injured and dead, local fire crews, more than 20 emergency responders from the healthcare community, and county and city law enforcement, as well as representatives of other local government agencies.
