Wyoming Behavioral Institute is unique in its strong understanding of the uniqueness of Wyoming. We have committed resources to working with the Wyoming Legislature, our congressional delegation, the state's executive branch, and the Wyoming Hospital Association to assure the shaping of a better mental health delivery system in Wyoming.
Wyoming Behavioral Institute has forged strong, lasting relationships within Wyoming that further opportunities for stretching limited mental health care resources to a greater number of people in need, while maintaining high quality care. We partner actively and continuously with state and local governments, community hospitals, and advocacy organizations.
Wyoming Behavioral Institute serves as an educational home for many healthcare professionals, offering psychiatric rotation for medical students, psychiatric residents, training for nursing and occupational therapy students and nurse practitioners certifying for psychiatric specialization, and supervision for provisional counseling professionals seeking licensure.
Construction began in February on a building expansion project Wyoming Behavioral our ability to provide immediately accessible care to children, adolescents and adults throughout the region. We are committed to improving people's lives by helping them access information and treatment.
